Baby Gifts

I made these for my co-workers' baby shower.  The burp clothes are made with baby diapers and the intial embroidered with our quattro emb machine.  The bib is a in the hoop design and very easy to make on the embroidery machine.  The gift bag was decorated with the Cricut Imagine using the Baby Boutique cartridge.  The baby was cut from Baby Steps Cartridge.  I love the imagine for decorating gift bags and quick cards.

Some Cards and Projects

I am taking a online class called A Cut Above, It teaches different techniques using manual and digital die cutters.  I made this card using techiques that I learned in the class.
The stamps, cardstock and lamp dies are Paper Trey Ink.  The window and label shapes are spellbinders dies.  The embossing folder is Paper Studio's.

SVG Cuts came out with cutting files for Iris fold cards.

I made these for my coworkers baby showers.
The papers are My Minds Eye.

Silhouette Advent Calendar

Silhouette America came out with this fabulous calendar for advent this year. I just had to make this for my nephew. You can choose either boxes or drawers, cut them with the silhouette and decorate. I did a mixture of both after seeing some calendars done this way. I used Hobby lobby's paper studio xmas paper for most of the days and decorated them with stickers from paper studio, K & Co, doodlebug and ek success. The nativity die was cut from Inspired heart cricut cartridge. The numbers were a mixture of stickers and die cuts. Hobby lobby has some fabulous glitter paper in their christmas line that does not shed glitter and it cuts well on electronic cutters and manual dies.

The boxes are big enough to fit a variety of toys, candy and treats.  I hope Jeremiah enjoys his christmas countdown. I bought two more cause when Jalin saw it he wanted a "teen" one! That won't get done til next year.

Jeremiah's 3rd Birthday Card

This is a 5x7 inch side step card made for my nephew's third birthday.  I used SvgCut's Edito Island for the card file.  Cutting the file on the Pazzles Inspiration Cutter.  This was much simpler than cutting and measuring by hand like I did for the nurse card.  The die cuts were all made on the cricut imagine using Birthday Bash, except the star and circle border which is from the Cricut Birthday Cake cartridge and the dinousaur which is from Create a Critter.  I love using the imagine for projects like this because it is easy to use the patterns and colors from an imagine cartridge (Blast Off) and fill in shapes from the other cartridges.  They all coordinate and can be cut on one or two sheets of white cardstock.  Jeremiah's Bday is today, I hope the card reaches on time.

Birthday Card and Santa Layout

This card was made for my mom.  I can't remember where I got the instructions for the pop up flowers online, but I used the cricut and quickutz dies to make the corners and leaves and used their design studio file for the pop up insert.

This is a 12x12 layout made for my nephew's album. The santa was made with a file from My Scrap Chick, the file is suppose to be for cards but is easy to just enlarge it for a layout. Click here to see the file:  winterfaces

Side step card

My cousin tina graduated from nursing school, so I made her a special card.  This is called a side step card.  I googled and found the instructions.  I made this 5 x 7 and used Cricut's Everyday Paper Doll Cartridge to make the cute nurse.

Cut nurse uniform with Imagine and used patterns from Best friends cartridge to make the unform including her cute shoes.  Imagine makes it easy to coordinate colors, plus it cuts detailed images well.
